Spring and early summer are the best times for weddings at Slussen! The new green leaves are just appearing and the blossom trees are flowering. We take a few wedding or party bookings per year and we do our best to deliver a true Slussens experience with a lot of love and the warmest and happiest of memories.
If you’d like to hire our premises for a celebration do get in touch. The arrangement is more or less the same except of course that the toast to the happy couple has been replaced with a welcome drink and instead of a bridal waltz there’s a full dance floor. Details regarding number of guests and prices are the same. Come and create happy memories with us!
This is how weddings work at Slussens
Many people choose to get married outdoors with the sea and rocks as background. The most popular wedding venue is the headland next to the hotel with Havstens Fjord as a backdrop. If you want to get married in church, beautiful Torp Church is about 2 km from here. After the wedding ceremony, the wedding toast drinks will be served. Then it’s time for the wedding breakfast. The tables will be decorated elegantly with linen, candles and flowers in our beautiful glass veranda overlooking the bay. A three-course wedding menu will be served, with selected wines or other drinks. Then you’ll leave the table for the dance floor. It’s time for the bridal waltz! Your guests join in and the party can begin. The bar is open and you choose how you want to do it: offer a free bar, a limited choice or guests pay themselves – it’s all ok.
Towards the early hours the party will be coming to an end. Then is the perfect time for a late night snack. Sending you a warm welcome, lovers!
Prices, number of guests and what’s included
Our wedding package includes wedding toast with refill and canapes, three course dinner, wine with the starter, main meal and dessert, coffee and late night snack as well as table settings, table decorations, servers, venue and music equipment.
The price also includes two planning discussions/meetings.
We can provide suggestions for spring or autumn menus.

We assume that most of your guests will want to stay the night.
There are 34 rooms in the hotel and another 15 in the neighbourhood.
Minimum number per booking:
70 people for dinner, around 60 people staying overnight.
